Description
Alganol and Zonalin are modified zinc oxide eugenol cements manufactured by Kemdent. They have a pH value 7-8 and combine low solubility and high compressive strength to produce an exceptionally durable material in the mouth. Designed for routine cavity linings under amalgam and silicate restorations, as a temporary filling which can be left for several weeks, pulp capping to protect pulp from thermal change and acid irritation of cements, temporary seal, antiseptic, acid neutralising and protective.
